UV Lashes are no different care then washing all other lash extensions with different brands.

UV LED lash extensions are waterproof, oil resistant, salt water resistant, chlorine resistant and cry proof.

Lash Shampoo/Cleanser is not just for your lash extensions, but its to keep your natural lashes underneath clean and healthy. The lash cleanser is to keep make up and debris away from the adhesive bonds on your natural lashes. Would you wash your eyes with your face cleanser or with baby shampoo, no! Those are not for your lashes, please use a lash and eye safe cleanser for your lash health and to elongate your retention time.

I do tell my clients that all Lash shampoo / Cleansers are all the same, otherwise they are not safe for your eyes. Other artists and brands will put their name on the bottle, so you think its different, but inside, they are all the same. The scent may be different and maybe 1 or 2 extra ingredients added, but they are all meant for your lashes and your extensions.

Please wash your lashes daily if you wear make up! Very important to keep your lash line clean and free of lash mites.

To wash your lashes, first wet the eye area with water, then apply a gentle, lash cleanser to a cleansing brush or your finger. Gently work the cleanser in a downward or circular motion at the lash line, thoroughly rinsing afterward. Carefully pat the lashes dry with a lint-free towel, and then use a clean spoolie brush to gently fluff and shape them.

What You'll Need

  • A gentle, oil- and glycol-free lash-safe cleanser - if your lash adhesive is oil-proof, then your lash cleanser doesn't necessarily have to be oil free. Talk to your artist about wash care based of the adhesive.

  • A soft cleansing brush or a bending make up eye brush

  • A clean, soft, lint-free towel

  • A mini fan or if your on a time crunch, a hairdryer on a cool setting - selfie arms length away

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Wet your lashes: Gently wet your face and lashes with water.

  2. Apply cleanser: Pump a small amount of lash shampoo onto a cleansing brush or your palm, add a drop of water, and gently lather it to create a foam.

  3. Gently cleanse: With your eye closed, use the brush to gently wipe the foam across the lash line, moving from the top of the lashes and underneath them in a downward motion

  4. Rinse thoroughly: Use the cleansing brush to carefully rinse away all shampoo residue. Use a squeeze water spout or rinse in the shower

  5. Pat dry: Gently pat your lashes and surrounding skin with a clean, lint-free towel.

  6. Dry and brush: Use a handheld fan or a hairdryer on a cool setting to dry your lashes completely, then use a clean spoolie brush to gently fluff them into their proper shape.

Important Tips

  • Be gentle: Avoid rubbing or tugging on your lashes, as this can loosen the bond to your natural lashes..

  • Use lash-safe products: ALWAYS use a LASH CLEANSER. Avoid harsh or irritating products, and do not use cotton balls.

  • Clean daily: Very important to wash your lashes! This is to prevent the buildup of dirt, oil, and makeup.  If you wear make up daily, you MUST to cleanse your lashes daily.

  • Focus on retention: Regular, gentle cleaning helps to maintain the lash adhesive, which can extend the life of your extensions.
